I love traveling on the subway as it is very efficient and relatively comfortable. Unlike buses and taxis, there would never be a traffic jams on the subway. Most importantly, It gets me straight to where I want, without too much hassle. Every station is mapped out and prices listed clearly.
Other than the convenience that it brings, there is always plenty of interesting people on it, from all walks of life. I like watching people and their activities on the subway; some play with their mobile phones, some people read their newspaper, some hug their beloved partner...and some even make public displays of their affection, which could be quite disturbing to watch sometimes.
On the subway, I also noticed many kind people whom gave their seats to the elderly and pregnant without hesitation. I feel proud to be one of these people.
