This really isn't a question I can answer in one word.Thanks to China's One Family One Child policy,I'm the only child in my family.I'm not saying that there's nothing good about being the only child.Actually,there are a lot to take advantage of.I can always enjoy the full share of my parents' love,energy and care.I never have to worry about siblings stealing my spotlight.All my wishes and desires are satisfied almost immediately and unconditionally.I can just sit there and be spoiled.This being said,I should have nothing to complain about.
But let me tell you something,had I been given a chance to choose,I'd rather have siblings than not have them.Brothers or sisters,I'd love to have both.
I wish I had a brother one and a half years older than me,so that he could teach me how to play sports,and he could play with me when I was bored.When I got into troubles,he could always have my back.At the same time,since he was not too much older than me,he wouldn't be mean to me,push me around or pick on me.If I were a girl,a brother much older than me might as well be beneficial.But apparently that's not an option for me as I'm a boy,and I've heard enough about big boys being mean to their baby brothers.For me,I just want a brother with whom I can share my biggest fantacies as well as my growing pain.A younger brother can be good too,since he could look up to me,give me motivation to set a good example for him.
I wish I had a sister too.I'd like to have a younger sister,who is nice and cute,and listens to me all the time.I'd become a brave big brother who is strong,protective and trusty.I'd read books to her,tell her funny stories to make her laugh,and scary stories once in a while just to make things more interesting.I'd show her my biggest achievements so that she could be proud of me.I'd also share my secrets with her,that way we wouldn't be lonely.An older sister would be nice as well,she'd be nice to me,take care of me and maybe help me with my homeworks.
Brothers or sisters,younger or older,whichever way it is,I know I'd be happy with it.

The minds of girls is different from boys'.when I face some problems ,I can turn to him for help.what's more ,when I have something to move up stairs ,he can help me for he is much more strenthful than I am .After all,a brother is much better than a sister .
In short ,I would rather have a brother than a sister.

The Family I Want
Family has a great influence on our personal development. If we are from a happy family, we tend to be cheerful and optimistic. If we are brought up in an unhappy family, we may grow up miserable and pessimistic. If we are not loved by our family, we may not learn to love others.
Well, maybe sometimes we admire other one's family, because we are not satisfied of our own families. Like me ,I wish my parents could be knowledgeable and good-looking.I even wish they could be friendly to me as a pal of mine. I always dream of playing basketball with my father and going to the theater with mother. Well, it seems cool that my father and I have the brotherhood. when I were exhausted ,he would console me instead of asking me to study. Maybe they will think what I said is silly, but I really hope they can be my real friend. My sister is 6 years old. she is very lovely but very naughty. she usually talk with me about how she makes fun of others and tell me something happening in her school.
Although I’d like to have a brother instead of naughty sister, I still love them , everyone of my family. Cause my family is a place where I can get warmth, help, comfort and strength. It’s also a source of laughter, and a good means to lessen the tension and pressure we all face every day.
